Hi Brenda. I think that for now it’s a waiting game to see if the medication will do the trick. It’s also important to remember that by using medication for a bacterial infection will affect good and bad bacteria, even in the filtration system. If you can add some aquarium/pickling salt to the water that should also help. Another thing, if your fish looks happy and is swimming around it’s a really good sign that things are working.
