Koi Fish Information Centre

Don,
First, no one wants excess goldfish in the numbers that are produced by goldfish pond spawns. And second it is cruel to the fish to give pond raised fish to kids who will put them in bowls or small aquariums where they will not be cared for properly. No goldfish or koi should ever be put in a tank or bowl.
As to laws, laws are made by people. Some laws are sensible, some are dumb, many laws merely reflect the desires of special interests.
Third, I don’t have excess koi, only goldfish. This discussion has nothing to do with koi.
