[UniQuaria] unidentified fish


 

Oh great, that is not what I bargained for, probably not the best fish for a beginner either… ugh…

 

I will have to look into the black worms…

I also have to look into what this sucker retails for, as I think I may have over paid for him, but that is just me… maybe I under paid…who knows…

 

I think he is the no-nose elephant that is what he looks like the most…

 

not sure why he is called a dolphin he doesn’t have a lick of a nose…

Sounds like one of the african mormyrids. They are related to elephant nose and “baby whales”. Here is a link about african cichlids with a picture of a “dolphin” about midway into the article.
