[UniQuaria] Traveling with fish
I believe we are still not allowed to bring liquids into the cabin(carry on) so they will see the fis in the x ray machine. Your best bet is checked. Call the airline and ask them. I had one airline tell me it was ok, then when I got to the airport on my return trip with a cooler full of live fish they would not let me on the plane. It took about an hour of phone calls and they allowed me to take them. Then the TSA would not let me take them on the plane. About 45 minutes of talking with them and they finally relented and allowed me to take them on the plane. If someone at the airline does tell you it is ok GET THEIR NAME and the department they are in. To my knowledge only Delta still allows fish in your luggage. Perhaps you can have them shipped for you from the pet shop? I am taking Delta to and from the ACA convention in Atlanta this summer because they still allow it. -Mike In a message dated 5/28/2008 5:57:44 P.M. Any suggestions would be appreciated
