You say it hangs over the edge? Well the one I have and just bought for my tank is completely submersible. So then it wouldnt matter if it is all in the watter. The holders are to keep the heater from floating around the tank.
If you mean that if it is supposed to just hang over then yes it is .. the holder is to keep it in place.. I have for now.. placed a bit of tape to keep it from falling completely in the tank for now.. I may just end up getting completely new heater […]
