[AquaticLife] Broken fish tank

Welcome to our list.
If the tank is chipped, and it is leaking, I’d be inclined to go along with your husband’s advice. Get a new 30, and use it to replace the current one before everything ends up on the floor in the middle of the night (these things always happen in the middle of […]

Broken fish tank

Hello and thank you for letting me join your group. I have 6 tanks in total ranging from 55-10 gallons. My problem is my 30 gallon has gotten chipped on the side and now is slowly dripping out water…my Hubby doesn’t think I can fix it. He worries that the fixed part will be too […]

It’s National Fish Pharmaceuticals which is why you weren’t getting a hit to it right away. You can probably find Acriflavin in a smaller package elsewhere.
Their smallest size, 19.2 grams, appears to cost $34.+ http://www.fishyfarmacy.com/products.html
DOSAGE: 19.2 grams makes 1 pint. Five drops of this stock solution per gallon of aquarium water will treat […]

HI JAKI,
If your pond is 40gallons instead of 400 gallons, it is probably a glass or fiberglass aquarium & not a pond. Nevertheless, whether it is an aquarium or a pond, it is way too small for 13 kois and it is a miracle that they still seem healthy. The kois you bought from BiorR […]

Angelfish laying eggs

I agree about computers being like socks, LOL. I get computer withdrawls if mine is out of commission for awhile. Shells and other marine items made of calcium will raise your pH which is a good thing if it is too low. Otherwise, maybe not a good idea.

You should be safe to use those decorations (if you want to) if you boil them first for 10 minutes. That will clean them and make them safe for the tank, but make sure nothing in plastic as it can melt LOL

Angelfish laying eggs

Seems like I keep my tank at the proper temp for breeding, LOL. It’s hard to keep my tanks below 80 as I keep my house in the high 70’s (shh I’m cold and it’s Alaska, with over 3 feet of snow on the ground and still counting, but this temp is […]

Hi Bill, Noticed you’re directing these two questions to \Steve//, and while he may well be able to add to this, I thought I’d throw this at you in the meantime, as one who used Methylene Blue almost daily — until I switched to Acriflavin finding it to be much more […]
