Yes Lenny that is what it looks like. It mostly happens to the larger snails. It is probably like mentioned, the bigger foot making it have more of a suction and the snails being sucked in. I have had to pull the snail (shredded) out of the intake. Not nice believe me. […]

With that kind of strainer, which is very similar to the strainers on most other filter systems, I don’t see how it’s happening. I just did a Google search and do not see where it’s very common either.

Over the years, I have only had one problem with a Dell tech. The guy would not listen to me and treated me like I was some kind of a dummy, making me repeat all the stuff I had already done and told him about. What I did was to pretend I was running […]

We have a business critical application that will not run under Vista. There are many older peripherals that will not run under Vista, often because the manufacturers have not written drivers for them. And if you go […]

I have Vista - and I think it is a piece of fish dung! incompatible with some expensive software I have, loaded the first service pack and it messed up my monitor - still have not had time or the will to figure it out yet. On Fri, Jan 2, 2009 at 3:47 PM, bill1433 […]

I agree about computers being like socks, LOL. I get computer withdrawls if mine is out of commission for awhile. As far as a comparison between Angel’s and Ram’s… My Angel’s remind me of sharks, they lay in wait for their prey, I sometimes imagine the “Jaws themesong” playing when they’re hunting for […]

Remote access can be a risky route to take with Ray’s apparent problems. He reports that he loses his messages prior to sending. Whether this is an Internet connection problem through his ISP, or related to something n the machine remains to be discovered. This is why it is best to have someone on site […]
