[AquaticLife] I really messed up this time!

The method that you level would depend on the stand. If it has legs and you do not need much raise I would think you could place a piece of wood directly under the leg, or you could get something at the hardware store that you could raise and lower via a nut and […]

[AquaticLife] I really messed up this time!

So, do you shim up the tank stand by adding pieces of wood under the legs,or what? Thanks, Jim In a message dated 1/7/2009 10:13:47 A.M. Central Standard Time, uneekfish@gmail.com writes:

I would drain tank water into 5 gallon buckets and rehome the fish there. HOB fiter or whatever you have, make it work in the bucket.
Level the stand so the tank is level. NEVER try and shim up the tank […]

Long-bodied goldfish like Comets, Commons, Shubunkins, Wakins, Jikins (and any other newer long-bodied varieties that may have popped up from cross-breeding) need REALLY BIG TANKS or preferably should […]

[AquaticLife] HELP!! My husband won’t stop buying fish!

Looks like she’s cleaning the tanks from what she stated, but not sure how often.. My husband had to put his foot down and tell me no more fish, so I can understand where you’re coming from (only in reversed roles). Just explain that you’re tired of doing all the work to […]
