I checked the plantgeek.net forums for a search on “low pH plants” and I saw your new thread. Hopefully, you’ll get more answers. […]

Our Govt. bans live rock in the hobby but allows commercial trawling which, in my opinion is far more dangerous to the reefs. Initiatives are being taken for captive breeding Indian ornamental fish. Our laws hardly have […]

Alan,
Thanks for supporting my post. Goldfish should be no problem, however Asian carp (same species as koi but all plain colored) have spread rapidly in some big US rivers and have displaced native fish. I saw a documentary where they were being counted by running a boat with […]

A tancho is a redspot on the top of the head. Any number of types could have a tancho marking and would be called a ‘ tancho that-type’. A fish called ‘tancho’ is white with a red spot on the head. To be a ‘perfect’ tancho […]

Hi Joanna My last post didn’t come out properly or was edited. Glad that my countries fish are popular. But many are being caught in the wild for export and entire populations are being decimated.
Hi G. I deal mostly with fishes from India. While these fish are gaining in popularity, they […]
