Sand


Yeah I get this when using fine sand in my marine systems. The key is to wash the sand very well before use, most of the suspended particles are so fine you’re best to simply filter them out at this point. I would either use a micron pad in an existing filter or pick up a cheap “quick filter” and filter the water clean with that. Fine sand can be a pain at times, specially if you have fish that will move it around looking for food.
Let your filters run, I see you have a couple whisper 60 models, these should help some. Ultimately for such a large tank I would put a canister filter in operation if or when possible. Anything that hasn’t settled by now with no filters running is “dust” and you want that out of the tank permanently. Perhaps a 100% water change will also help.
