Is this the fish you have? If so, it is a “cull” of Microgeophagus or Papiliochromis altispinosa otherwise known as a “Bolivian Ram”. It is impossible to cross an angelfish with an altispinosa. It is incorrectly identified in this picture as a regular ram, Microgeophagus ramerezi. I hope this put to rest your query about a fish that should have never been sold in the first place. But because of the almighty dollar, they are on the market.
