Re- [Ponds-Koi] WATER?!? YEH, RIGHT!

According to God.. that’s who! OK.. maybe not God, but rather little old me… since you asked the group and I’m the one who replied. lol
Besides… you can look at the broken clock and a working one next to it and see that the broken one, showing 12:15, is only correct twice a day.. unless you use military time, then it’s only correct once a day.
And now on to the test strips…
If you were to ask someone else, they might tell you the same thing or something different. If you don’t want to believe what we might tell you, why ask us? I’m sure if you ask a thousand people, you may find someone who gives you an answer you want to hear but then you have to ask if they are correct or not.
OK.. I changed my mind. They work fine.
Oh wait.. No they don’t.
So now.. which answer is to be believed?
Or maybe I should ask you… what evidence do you have that proves my answer isn’t accurate?
Anyhow.. you see where this is going. If you ask a question, either accept the answer or don’t… that’s up to you.
Or you can go out and buy five different brands of test strips and compare them yourself… heck.. you can take five strips from the same brand and compare them and wonder which one is accurate since they will likely give you five different results. I’m sure one of them might be accurate.. but which one? Or maybe none of them are accurate.
I choose to use two different “good” test kits with test tubes and reagent drops and if one of them gives me a test result that might be inconsistent with what my experience tells me, I’ll use the other test kit. If it gives the same result as the first kit, then I feel pretty confident in both kits.. If they start giving different results, then I check the expiration dates, etc. or go get a third test kit.
