Question, problem with my pond.
Liane, Thanks alot for your response.
1. The fish are staying mostly at the bottom, a good sign there is a problem! There is no streaking of their fins, nor are they gasping for air.
2. Nothing has been used in the pond except for Stress Coat, when the water was ut back in both times. (It said on the bottle would remove chlorine as well)
3. Filter was cleaned 2 weeks ago. It is rated for a 1600 gallon pond, the pump is rated for a 900 pond.
4. This pond has been in and running for over a year, never had a problem until last few weeks. Fish have been in since the begnning. (Well after it cycled) We took all the plants out for winter, and have not put them back in yet, but was told thsi shouldn’t be an issue.
Hope this helps. I’m at a loss if a very nice pond co that has $$$ koi can’t figure it out either.
