Priming external pond pump
I have just installed a tetra II bottom drain in my pond that is connected to a leaf basket and external pump. The istructions for running the pump states that you must prime the pump, however, it did not go into detailed as to prime the pump. Does anyone know how to prime the pump. I also installed the check valve. My pond is 12′x12′ and five feet deep. I have 10 koi, and read that I needed a bottom drain.
