[Ponds-Koi] Transporting Koi
You can get 12V battery operated air pumps at fishing stores. They are used in the live bait wells on boats. There are also portable ones that run off of D-cell batteries.
I’m not sure if a regular air pumps for tires are suitable or safe since they may or may not be constructed to pump “fresh” air and may inadvertently pump some oil residue, etc., along with the air but if others have used them, then I’ll cede this point.
