Does anybody know what the water to K1 ratio is suppose to be in a fluid bed filter? Chris.

Of hand Chris, I don’t. But what has worked for me and others I’ve spoken to is whatever size container you are using, K1 should not exceed approximately 1/2 of the available space inside. I used that “rule of thumb” for both my DIY fluid beds and the work great. I tried adding more to my smaller barrel and it wouldn’t roll very well at all after that so I pulled it back and it’s back to working well again. Sue
