[Ponds-Koi] Question, problem with my pond.
A couple of questions:
1. How are the fish in this tank acting? Are they acting stressed, gasping, jumping, fins clamped, etc?
2. Did you use a product like Amquel when you did your water changes? It is my understanding that these products will give you a “false positive” for ammonia, even though the ammonia has been bound by chemicals. (someone more knowledgeable than I on this topic needs to chime in here).
3. What kind of filter is on this tank? When was the last time it was backflushed/cleaned?
4. How old is this setup? Couple of months? weeks? years? How long have the fish been in it?
Answers to these questions could help folks solve your problems.
