[Ponds-Koi] PH ??

The bigger question is why you have such dramatic differences?
Are you using the same source water for both?
What is the fish stocking in both?
Are you doing sufficient PWC’s and filter maintenance on the inside pond?
Tell us more about both ponds and I’m sure we can figure out why but my first inclination is that the inside pond has a lot more going on in it so it needs a lot more PWC’s and filter maintenance.
The natural ecology of a pond will lower the pH over time… there’s no if’s and’s or but’s about that unless something was done that results in adding or leaching of KH or GH increasing elements so the pH goes up… otherwise it will go down due to all of the biological processes happening in a pond that utilize all of the trace elements and add carbonic acid to the pond, which will then lower the pH.
One last note.. you don’t necessarily want to lower the pH in your outside ponds. Goldfish and Koi both do well in higher pH waters.
Give us more info on your other water parameters also.
