Pond rocks.
About 3 days ago I moved a few of my Rocks and was shocked by the amount of crud that had settled between them. As a result I spent the last two days removiong all my rocks with exception of my river beed area. With the flow of a stream the crud does not build upo there. But in the main pond area where water flow is drasticly reduced wow were there the dead leaves decaying away etc.
I also redid my water fall with a redesigned water fall filter It is now hidded amd about twice the size of what I had before for a filter ation system.
My next step is going to be to build in a skimmer filter combination. This will be mainly a mechanical filter that will be piped to the Waterfall filter instead of pipining it from the pump on the bottom of the pond. However the installation of this filter will probably have to wait a while as I need to do some resculpering of the pond to create a space for it that can be easily hidden and look natural.
I will still have the fountain pump on the bottom to circulate the dead water at the bottom up and areare it.
