Sorry to hear that you have up your koi. When I did the salt solution and Melafix treatments, it was on the main pond and not on a quarantine tank/pond (which I don’t have) so my sick koi had all the space it wanted to move around while being treated. Never had any problems regarding ulcers and the like after that incident.
