[Philippines Internet Koi Society] Black Koi
MOST KOI SELLERS WILL TELL YOU GREAT STORIES SUCH AS “RARE & EXPENSIVE” JUST TO BE ABLE TO SELL THEIR KOIS TO YOU AT A HIGH PRICE. SO DON’T BELIEVE IN THEM AGAD. TO BE SURE, COME TO THIS SITE AND ASK FOR ADVICE FROM EXPERTS TULAD NILA RAMIL.
BLACK KOIS
1) THEY ARE EXPENSIVE IF RARE - 5 years ago, I got a black one. My friend want one also but we could not find it anywhere else. So if he found one and even if expensive, biblihin niya, But maraming BLACK na ngayun. So you can make tawad.
2) BUY BLACK KOI ONLY FOR THE SAKE OF HAVING ONE - you are right. Di naman makikita siya sa pond. So just have one for the sake of saying, “mayron din akong black”. Other than that, it is useless. NEVER KEEP MORE THAN ONE BLACK. Pangdagdag poopoo lang. Mas gaganda ang pond mo if you have other colors or varieties.
3) CAREFUL ALSO WHEN YOU BUY BLACK KOIS WHEN THEY ARE SMALL - many KOIS are black when they are small but will change colors as they grow. I agree 100% with RAMIL. If you are not an expert, buy a big black koi to be sure it will no longer change to other colors.
