[Philippines Internet Koi Society] Black Koi
I managed to find my black koi at a local aquarium in Puerto Princesa. I can’t recall how much we paid but I don’t think it was very expensive. Mind you, we have not seen any others on offer since. My black koi is actually my favourite. Only about 2.5 inches long when we got it last September, it is now at least 4 times that size. Very rapid growth, but it seems to have slowed down a bit. The underbelly is slightly gold and when the dorsal fin is up there is a line of gold color at the base of it. I hope it will continue to thrive. Good luck with your ’stealth’ koi! Matt
