pH change
This week I was out of town for three days over the holiday and decided to leave my fish without feed. When I returned home Saturday night all of the fish looked well and ate normally. I did a pH check on the water and it had gone from 7.4 (usual) to 7.9. This is in a 90 gal tank with 8 gourami, 3 cory and 2 otto. I did a PWC this morning and checked the pH 2 hours afterwords and the pH was 7.4. Does anyone have an idea as to why the pH was up after going without feed for 3 days? Jimmy McHaney Husser, LA
