Other pond fish compatible with Koi??

Goodness, it’s nice to have you back, Don. These prolonged absences leave me with no resident expert to bounce my problems around with, and this winter we had problems with a capital P and lost my four finest fish because of it.
It’s too late to avoid the mistakes that were made and I’m taking giant steps to correct things before we lose the rest of our collection (and my fingers are still crossed), but I can’t help but feel that had I been able to touch base with you, I might have been able to stop this before it got so out of hand.
Oh well, live and learn, right? But still, it’s wonderful to have you back.
