Name That Tetra!
So I bought 6 Black Neon Tetras, or so I thought, from a local shop. When I got them home I had 3 Black Neons and 3 … I don’t know what! I’m going to get a pic tomorrow, but I don’t want to freak out the fish right now by turning the lights on.
The tetra is the same size, shape, etc. as the black neon. It’s body is see-through and it has a goldish-brown line where the black neon has it’s stripe. The tail is clear except for the same goldish-brown at the base of it. The eye has a red dot on the top of it, and I think there is red on the tail too (they’re very lightly coloured now that they’re in sleep mode, so I didn’t see it).
So based on this… does anyone have any idea what they might be? I’d like to get them some companions as one died and there are only 2 left (this was months ago that I bought them, but I didn’t want to buy more until the snow melted and temps outside were OK for bringing them home).
