Give it a little time, but you should start to see a small difference within 3-4 days. I would still add some baking soda to raise the level a little. However the fact that the tank has a lower KH than the tap water is an indication that something is consuming carbonates. Many substrates do this during the first months of use, by the description of the substrate itself I would not expect it to do this, but it’s a possibility. Most likely your tank will stabalize within a month or so and you won’t need any crushed corals or baking soda to maintain the KH2 that the tap water is at. You’ll only need them if you desire to raise it further.
