Ick
Hello,
I desperately need some advice. I’ve been dealing with a very nasty ick issue for several months now and I simply just do not know what to do. The first time I caught it, I treated it right away with aquarium salt and ick medicine…..well, needless to say I lost the battle and lost my koi. I thoroughly cleaned the tank, rocks, plants etc and sanitized them with anti-bacterial soap and even let everything dry out for a good week and refilled the tank and got new fish (from a different supplier) and much to my surprise, my fish have ick again!! I only have 3 koi this time around where as before I had 5 (all small- medium sizes) in a 125 gallon tank. Should I throw away all the old decor in the tank and sanatize that tank itself? I’ve spent so much money on salt and ick medecines and I just simply dont know what more I can do……if anyone has any good suggestions, I’m all ears!
