Yours is the first request that I have heard for powder - I’ll need to check into it for the future - it’s a good idea.
And Lenny - I realize that teaching old dogs new tricks is tough, but try to ignore the stupid decision that Novalek made to call the new product AMQUEL PLUS. It is a VERY, VERY, different product than regular AMQUEL and it does things very differently. Most ammonia type detoxifiers are just that - they only detoxify - change the NH3 to NH4 (toxic to non-toxic.) AMQUEL PLUS REMOVES the nitrogen family chemically. As Dr. Rofen told me a few years ago: “If your test shows ammonia, and you follow the directions properly and treat with AMQUEL PLUS properly, and you still get the ammonia reading - then the test is wrong.” As you know, most ammonia tests read the total of both NH3 and NH4 and do not tell you if you have an actual problem if you treated with a traditional detoxifier.
So PRIME is fine for a water conditioner, but not for removing ammonia… it only detoxifies it.
AMQUEL PLUS is a unique chemical that is a very important tool for proper water quality management.
I just wish that they had thought of a new name for it so that we wouldn’t think it was “another AMQUEL.” It isn’t.
