Hi Dave. Thanks for the follow-up on your pH saga. As for your cloudy water, several seasons ago I took a jar of my cloudy water to one of the local aquarium stores that I’d bought a few things from that season and they tested the water for me to see what might be causing it to cloud up the way it was. Plus, truth be told, no matter how carefully I test my pond water I’m still distrustful of the results I get. I guess I’m always under the assumption that I’m doing something wrong.
Anyway, the aquarium place recommended something called Laguna Water Clarifier and assured me that the product was entirely safe for the fish, plants and biofalls, so I bought it. Within days I had the clearest water imaginable, and now that I have a really excellent pond vacuum I’m pretty sure I’ll never need to use the product again.
Take a water sample to your local aquarium supply emporium and see what they say about your water.
