36 hours

Well I finaly hit 36 hours without a fish loss. Now if the trend continues how long do you think it should be before I can safely start replacing some of the fish. I have 1800 gallons and three Koi left.
Remaining ate one Kohaku, and two Muji (one white and one black) they are all between 4″ and 6″. The lost ones that hurt me the most were loosing at least a dozen Shiro Bekko and almost a dozen Showa. The Hikari I lost at least can be easily found localy which are one of favorate varieties when mized with other varieties in the same pond.
I’m hoping for a long term population of about 12 to 18 Koi. With probably 6 more added this summer if I can find some colors I like. Sorry no more imports from Japan for me unless I set up a holding system of at least 10 gallons per fish incomming. But some of those fish were unbelievable compared to what I commonly see localy.
