In addition to all of those suggestions, here’s one more piece of advice. If you are using a digital camera, you may have a manual setting on the lens. I have a Nikon D40 and on my lenses, I have a M for manual and an A for Auto.

Best remedy to remove hard water deposits is vinegar and elbow grease followed by a thorough rinsing of water.
